Homo Urbanus (2014 / 2015)
A duet of a man and woman to show, analyze and destroy the new species of mankind “Homo Urbanus”.
Raised in a jungle of concrete, rises a new order, new specie, Homo Urbanus. Being different from the original man, they have their proper way of moving , and their own codes. Unable to survive in their natural environment they change them to their own comfort, becoming dependent on machines. Persons are lost in time, struggling between their feeling and emotions and the practical issues of daily life. By living virtually man forgets what it actually feels like to be real. In Homo Urbanus we aim to feel again through physical exhaustion. All of this translated by the most urban movement language: Urban Dances.
